The Music Ministry at Ascension Baptist Church exists to lead the congregation in authentic worship and create an atmosphere where people can encounter God. Through our two worship groups Heavenly Praise and Divine Melodies, we blend traditional and contemporary styles to glorify God and edify His people.
Our ministry is built on three pillars: Excellence, Anointing, and Service. We believe music is both an offering to God and a powerful tool for spiritual transformation.

Ways to serve through music
We're always looking for singers for both Heavenly Praise (choir) and Divine Melodies (vocal team). Auditions required.
Skilled musicians needed for Divine Melodies (guitar, keys, bass, drums, etc.) and occasional orchestra for special events.
Sound engineers, lighting technicians, and media operators needed to support both worship groups.
